Stamping robot is a commonly used automation equipment in stamping process, and its main function is to clamp, position and carry the workpiece. However, in actual operation, there are some difficulties in stamping robot, how to solve these difficulties is the key to improve the efficiency and quality of stamping process.


First of all, one of the difficulties in the operation of the press manipulator is the stability of the clamped workpiece. Since the stamping process has high requirements for workpiece clamping, unstable clamping will lead to workpiece position deviation, which in turn affects the precision of the stamping process. Fourth, the fourth of the operating difficulties of the press manipulator is the difficulty in the handling process of complex shaped workpieces. For some complex shapes and curves of the workpiece, the clamping jaws of the manipulator are often difficult to completely fit with the workpiece, thus affecting the stability and accuracy of the handling. To solve this problem, the following measures can be taken: first, increase the adaptive ability of the manipulator, by adjusting the gripping method and angle of the gripper jaws, so that it can fit better with the workpiece; second, increase the flexibility of the manipulator, using multi-axis manipulator or flexible manipulator, to improve the adaptive ability of the complex shape of the workpiece.
